This is my truth

 

The divine feminine is all about taking the time to help things grow.

For thousands of years the God of the Hebrews, the God of the Christians, and the God of Islam has been the Divine Masculine side of God. God in his heavens casting thunderbolts. A powerful old man with long hair and a beard sitting on a heavenly throne. You get the idea.

This is the God that in Genesis:1 gives humans dominion over the world he created. The Royal Dominion no less. Which means we have been given the right of rape, pillage, and plunder. And we have been doing all three ever since we were given the Royal Commission.

We have slaughtered whole species of animals because we thought they tasted good. We have ripped massive holes into our Mother Earth because there's pretty baubles and shiny metals inside. Humanity has polluted the oceans, the lakes, the seas, the rivers, the very air we breathe with the machinery we make so that we can gain wealth and control over Mother Earth. We have done it all because when we read our sacred scriptures we read that we're allowed to, no, more than we're allowed , God commands that we do it.

But that's not the only creation story in the Bible or in the Tanach. And although I'm not sure of it I don't think it's the only creation story in the Quran. Now right here I should mention that I have no problem at all with intentionally insulting any view that deserves insulting, I truly don't. However, if I unintentionally insult somebody then I feel I have erred and I apologise every time. So, if you find I have insulted your religion; your faith, call it what you will, call me out in the comments and I'll apologise. Just because I speak prophetically doesn't mean that I cannot also speak rudely at the wrong time.

I have mentioned already that there is another story in the Tanach and in the Christian Bible and that story is the story of the Divine Feminine. In my opinion the best place to begin to explore the Divine Feminine is in Proverbs 8. If you will read it, I will be truly surprised if you don't think you're reading about Jesus. But you're not. You're reading about Lady Wisdom. Some would say, and I'm one of the some, that the writer of the gospel of John borrowed heavily from Proverbs 8 to describe the role of Jesus.

 And now comes the question, how different would our world be today if we had followed the divine feminine instead of the divine masculine? And I have never understood how any Christian could follow the Divine Masculine when Jesus is the quintessential expression of the Divine Feminine!

Jesus had a reputation for being compassionate, a teacher, a good listener, a good nurse and doctor, and someone who cared about helping. In a nutshell, he was empathic to the Max. In other words, he was a people person. 

If you want in a world full of gods, most of whom including the women, are very violent, to make your understanding of the divine stand out from the pack what could be more effective than having your male personification of perfection be perfection in a female style?

And that's gotta be just about enough of a shock to be a good place to stop this first post. However, as time goes by there's going to be more shocking things come up. The undeniable truth is that the societal norms of western civilization have pretty much destroyed the world we live in. Changing these norms is gonna require a certain amount of shock and awe.

I feel my calling is to bring comfort to the afflicted and affliction to the comfortable. And in some way get people together to think about how to change the path we're on to destruction. Time will tell if it succeeds.

I am not here to convert you. My role is not conversion, it is to make you think. Ideally you will take the truth I've been given to share and take it into your communities.


Synagogue, temple, mosque, church? It doesn't matter where your community is what matters is that your community understands the reality of the world we live in and can find ways to stop our headlong rush into hell.


My belief is that this can only be done one person at a time. However, I wouldn't object if you could prove me wrong.
